Well this should make many people happy, and it is nice to see that Apple is listening to complaints from their users. This was discontinued when Apple came out with Final Cut Pro X, and led to a number of complaints from some users of Final Cut Pro, mainly about missing elements they were used to with Final Cut Studio. To be fair, it was a ground up redesign of the product, and from what I've read, was a first step in a process that would have eventually had all the elements restored. But to quell the frustration of those that were unhappy, Apple has done the right thing. You can order it via phone only by calling 1-800-MY-APPLE and use part number MB642Z/A. Seems like this will be a temporary fix but a fix nonetheless. What are your thoughts?

"A "significant" upgrade to Final Cut Studio was announced by Apple Thursday, with more than 100 new features and new versions of Final Cut Pro, Motion, Soundtrack Pro, Color and Compressor."

Sounds like quite an upgrade, and if you are upgrading, it will set you back $299.00 USD. To buy full version, it will cost you $999.00 USD, a $300 discount from it's previous price. An upgrade such as this deserves full explanation, and Apple does just that on the Final Cut "What's New" page.

Apple continues its update streak for today, this time with Final Cut Studio. The update applies to the following apps and for the most part revolves around stability and performance enhancements.
